Run, Surf City, Run - Run for Mobility! Surf City and the Free Wheelchair Mission have teamed up for a fundraising event that will change the lives of thousands of people. In the 5th Annual Run for Mobility, runners will use the marathon, half marathon, and 5K to raise funds to build and deliver specially engineered wheelchairs around the world!Ingenious Design!

No Ordinary Wheelchair
These ingenious wheelchairs are made of outdoor furniture and mountain bike wheels, designed to withstand the often rough terrain of underdeveloped countries. At just $51.29 each, this remarkable fundraising event will change the lives of OVER 6,000 people!

Founded in 2001, Free Wheelchair Mission is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to providing wheelchairs for the impoverished disabled in developing nations. Headquartered in Irvine, California, FWM works around the world in partnership with a vast network of humanitarian, faith-based and government organizations, sending wheelchairs to hundreds of thousands of disabled people, providing not only the gift of mobility, but of dignity, independence, and hope.
