Challenge Information

Rules

Runners must complete any combination of full or half marathons in each of the three events in consecutive order, starting with any of the three events. For example, if a runner started the series at Surf City Marathon in 2017, s/he must complete OC Marathon 2017 and Long Beach Marathon 2017 to qualify for the reward.

If a person misses even one event in consecutive order, they will automatically be disqualified, and they must start over.

Beach Cities Medal Pick Up

ON RACE DAY IN THE EXPO

Upon completion of the third race in the series, runners will receive a special Beach Cities medal to recognize their achievement. Your race bib should have a Beach Cities logo on it which you will use to pick up your fabulous medal in the finish area of your third event. If Surf City is your third race in the challenge, be sure that your Beach Cities Qualifier status is verified when you view your registration on the main website in the 4 weeks leading up to the event. You need a correct bib assignment to pick up your medal. Medals will NOT be mailed.
