Chrono Track Tag Timing System
The Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K will be timed using the ChronoTrack Tag Timing system. When you pick up your bib number, your timing device tag will be attached to your bib. The tag will easily detach from your bib number and you'll attach it to your shoe before your race. ChronoTrack's tags are disposable which means there is no chip to return and you'll avoid the hassle of removing your chip after the race in the finish line.
Packet Pick Up
There will be no Race Day Packet Pick Up
Race Numbers and Packets must be picked up in person during the ACTIVE LIFESTYLE EXPO across from the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort, located at 21100 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, California 92648.
Runners must show ID to pick up their bib number and timing tag. If you must pick up a friend or family member's race packet you will need a copy of their ID and a note giving you permission to do so.
EXPO HOURS:
Friday, February 5th 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, February 6th 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Entry Rules
- You must be able to complete either the half marathon or marathon in six hours. Roads must reopen six hours after the event start.
- Marathon entrants must be at least 18 years old by race day.
- Half Marathon entrants must be at least 13 years old by race day.
- You must verify during registration that you are in good health and physically prepared to withstand the challenges of a marathon, half marathon, or 5K.
- Sorry, for safety reasons, we cannot allow skateboards, baby joggers, bikes, dogs, or skates of any kind on the course. Coaches, please wait for your athletes at the finish line.
- Fun costumes, particularly in the "surf" theme are strongly encouraged!!
Wheelchair Rules
- Start the Half Marathon 2 minutes before the runners.
- Racing Wheelchairs and Everyday Wheelchairs are accepted.
- Racing Wheelchairs are defined as customized performance chairs.
- Everyday Wheelchairs are defined as stock manual wheelchairs.
- Due to safety issues at the start and on the course NO hand cycles (hand bikes, hand crank devices or other mechanically gear driven devices) will be permitted in the race.
- Please note that the wheelchair division is only offered in the half marathon.
- Awards will be given to the top three finishers.
- Participants must be able to complete the course in six hours.

Transfer Requests
We can no longer accommodate transfer requests into the Half Marathon or 5K. All slots have been filled. Please note: Transfers from the full marathon to the half marathon will still receive a marathon participant shirt.
Cancellations
If you cannot participate after you have registered, please notify us by email. We will be happy to ship your T-shirt at your request, provided requests are made prior to 1/16/10. Please include your name, street address, gender, age, phone number and T-shirt size in your email. Due to advanced ordering and preparation, we cannot refund your fees. Entries are good only for the year they are intended and are non-transferable. Thank you for your understanding.
