Important Instructions
Tell your friends to go online at www.runsurfcity.com and register for the marathon or half marathon. 5K registrations by “friends” will not count toward your Inspiration number. During the registration process, they will be asked if they were “Inspired by a Friend.” They must check the “yes” box, and enter YOUR NAME and CITY. This is the only way to get on the Inspirational Leaderboard and we can verify your rewards.

Deadlines
Offer good on “friends” registered for either the full or half marathon between September 28th and December 7th, 2008 at 9:00 pm Surf City time.

“Halfway” Bonus Drawing – Deadline Sunday, Nov 9th – 9:00 p.m. Surf City time
A “Halfway” Bonus Drawing will take place on Monday, November 10th, which will include the top 10 leaders on the Inspirational Leaderboard! This marks the approximate “halfway point” in the promotional period.

Important Information and Fine Print
You do not have to be registered for this event to inspire others and qualify for any drawings. All “friends” must be officially registered for the 2009 Surf City USA® Marathon or Half Marathon (not the 5K) by 9:00 p.m. PST on the deadline dates indicated above for each drawing. The official “friend” count does not apply to “friends” who register for the 5K. In order to count as a “friend” on behalf of the Inspire Your Friend promotion, the “friend” must register for the full or half marathon AND enter your name and city as prompted in the online registration process. This is the only way to get on the Inspirational Leaderboard and we can verify your rewards.

Reward Pick UP
Most rewards will available for pick up at the Surf City USA® Marathon expo between January 30th and February 1st, 2009. The motor scooter may be picked up at the dealer, or will be shipped to the recipient free of charge. Any rewards not picked up at the expo will be forfeited.
