all participants regardless of fitness level. The power of having a
structured schedule with group support is one of the keys to starting
and maintaining an active lifestyle. Many of these clubs also offer
special training programs for the Surf City USA Marathon, Half

Orange County
A Snail's Pace
- Four great locations, Brea, Pasadena, Fountain Valley and Laguna
Hills with groups all over Orange County! Let A Snail's Pace
personalized training programs get you to the finish line of the Surf
City USA Marathon! Marathon training begins in August and Half Marathon
training in November.
Tri La Vie
- Tri La Vie is the premier women's training team in Orange County. We
provide comprehensive programs for running, swimming and triathlon. We
welcome all levels. Come run with us and celebrate success!
Fitness Coaching -
We offer customized training programs for the Surf City USA Marathon,
Half Marathon, and 5k. These programs are built around your specific
background and training goals. Fitness Coaching also offers Fluid
Running Clinics that will help you become a more efficient and faster
runner. These clinics are a must if your running form has never been

South Coast Road Runners-
A fixture in the Southern California running community since 1984. We
welcome runners of all ages, speeds and styles; from the track runner
to ultramarathoner to triathlete. We have training programs for all
levels and host many social events. The best way to get to know us is
to run with us! Come anytime!
ICR Beach Runners
- Two locations - Orange County and Long Beach. The ICR Beach Runners
Marathon and Half Marathon Training Program is ideal for anyone who has
a desire to challenge themselves, make new friends, increase body
strength and stamina, or simply wants to get involved in a healthy life
style sport. This program is designed to prepare a runner to finish a
marathon or half marathon. We welcome all runners, from beginners to
elite. Walkers are also welcome.
Train to End Stroke - Fullerton Area - This group is a fundraising group running for the American Stroke Association.
DongDalMo is the running club in Irvine Orange county since 2006.
Most of runners are Korean Americans who want to be in healthy and share the God's Love with neighbors.
Inland Empire
The Lopers Club
- The largest running/walking club in the Inland Empire (chapters in
Loma Linda and Riverside) and has something to offer those of all
levels interested in improving their fitness through walking, jogging,
or running. From beginning walkers to fast runners, we provide training
that includes knowledgeable speakers, experienced pace leaders, and
much more. You can train for any race distance or just to improve your
fitness level.
The Inland Empire Running Club
of Chino Hills is an organization created by veteran runners, coaches
and people with a mission to advance the joy of running in the Inland
Empire of southern California. This year-round program is specifically
designed to meet the needs of all people regardless of their level of
fitness. From the Beginning Run/Walker to the Elite Runner, we will
provide you the training and expert coaching to successfully complete a
Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k or simply get you in the shape of your
life. Come out and join us for a life changing experience!
Inland Empire Race Walkers
- The Inland Empire Racewalkers consists of friendly people of all
ages and skill levels. Even though we are a racewalking club we are
also involved power walking, running, cycling and other activities.
Long Beach
A Running Experience-
A Running Experience Club (AREC) was founded in 1981 to provide a safe
running environment for athletes of all ages and abilities in and
around the Southern California community of Long Beach. AREC is a true
"runners club." All of our members have a hand in creating the kind of
club they want through participation in scheduled Board meetings held
during the year to discuss the direction the club should take.
Los Angeles
LA Leggers -
We are a year round running and walking club based in Santa Monica. All
levels welcome. Marathon and Half Marathon specific training programs
began officially in August, with Mentor-led pace groups, speaker
programs and more. This program also prepares runners for the Surf City
USA Marathon & Half Marathon.
LA Running Club
- LARC - The primary goal for the LARC is to bring more people in to
the experience of running and into the running community. We want
people to be able to participate in running year round, not just during
marathon training seasons. Another goal is for LARC runners to improve
their training & technique so they can accomplish greater and
higher things. In addition, we want to see the LARC make positive
contributions to the surrounding community.
The Pasadena Pacers
provides a running club in an environment of commitment, inspiration,
and enthusiasm that will lead to a state of ultimate fitness and
vitality for all members. The club exists to help individuals achieve a
level of fitness they never before thought possible while enjoying the
fellowship of others. Please meet us any Saturday morning for a run at
the World Famous Rose Bowl.
Los Angeles Frontrunners
- A running and walking club for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and
transgender people (LGBT) and their friends and supporters. We welcome
runners and walkers of all levels, ethnic backgrounds, and sexual
identities. We participate in competitive and non-competitive running
events, weekly Fun Runs, our annual Pride Run, our Grand Prix racing
series, social events, and more. We assist each other with our running
goals and promote camaraderie among the LGBT community.
San Diego
San Diego Track Club
- Don’t let the title “San Diego Track Club” fool you! SDTC membership
spans a broad range from recreational joggers to elite athletes. Most
members are recreational runners who take in road races,
half-marathons, marathons, triathlons' or multi-sport events. The
mission of the San Diego Track Club, the largest running club in the
county, is to support the development of distance running, track and
field, and related sports in San Diego County. These goals are
accomplished by staging road races, providing coached workouts staging
track meets and holding social events.
West Coast Road Runners-
West Coast Road Runners training programs were developed by two very
passionate, enthusiastic individuals who love to run and coach others
to do the same. We are committed to the growth of the sport and to
helping our members complete goals they never thought were within their
reach.
Bay Area
PacWest Athletics
- As the largest outdoor fitness organization in Northern California,
PacWest is perfect for those who want to train for an event, love the
outdoors and are looking for a gym alternative. Our running, triathlon
and cycling club training programs have a great cross-section of first
timers, intermediate and experienced athletes. Join us for weekly track
workouts, bike rides and group runs in San Francisco, Marin County,
Berkeley and Oakland.
San Francisco Road Runners
- SFRRC, the Official Running Club of San Francisco for the 2009-2010
season, offers organized runs and variety of training programs
including full and half marathon programs and our acclaimed Running 101
program. The best way to learn more is to give us a test run.
Arizona
Arizona Road Racers -
Arizona's oldest running club promotes health and fitness through
running. The ARR stages family oriented events for runners of all ages
and abilities.
Havasu Hustlers Run Club
- The Havasu Hustlers run club is made of a variety of runners, from
our very fast guys to the back-of-the-packers. We train together for
local events and with those training for other events. We provide
year-round weekly group runs to all participants regardless of fitness
level. We have members throughout Mohave County and even one as far
away as Lakewood, CA. We invite anyone - member, local, or visitor, to

Chicago Area
Fleet Feet Chicago
– Our Racing Team is a group of like-minded runners who simply enjoy
running and having fun. While we field two types of teams, the main
club team, and a Local Elite team, the emphasis is on participation and
love of the sport. There are currently runners of all abilities,
shapes, sizes and talent on the team.
Chicago Area Runners Association
- (CARA) is a non-profit organization devoted to expanding, motivating,
supporting and celebrating the running community of Chicagoland. CARA
connects runners to resources that enable them to run—further, faster,
better, for life. While CARA has a number of expert training programs
designed for runners of all abilities and paces, the organization is
more than just a training group. If you’re a runner in Chicagoland or
thinking about becoming one, you should consider CARA membership

Barrie Roadrunners
- Ontario - Free to join, and on the go twelve months a year, the
Barrie RoadRunners is an avid network of runners who love to travel,
carbo load, and partake in post-race festivities the world-over. We
welcome all levels of runners and meet in a group setting twice weekly
for training runs and periodic bus trips to race venues. This dynamic
group thrives on the exchange of experiences, running techniques, and
training methods. We energetically support one another in achieving the
goals of the group and each individual member!
